Agency work can consist of social work agencies, temporary work agency, and other types of employment. More often than not when someone is searching or mentioning agency work they are more likely to mean that of social work. Social agency work consists of helping communities and the less fortunate in a variety of fields that may include counseling and therapy and other such services. This is simply one aspect of social work as their services can encompass many different things. Social workers require degrees and work in many different fields. The work requires a vigorous determination to help the less fortunate despite overwhelming odds to overcome the adversities experienced in the field.

A temporary work agency provides a great opportunity for employment that can be a lifesaver in this economy. Temp agencies provide work to companies that may only need someone for a little while or wish to try out different employees before they hire one permanently. This also allows temporary work agency employees to do the same as they can gain job skills and try out employment positions and decide if they want to stay or try something else. This is also a great opportunity for temporary jobs and part time work if you just need something to tide you over for whatever reason.

Social Work Agencies – Human Rights

Social work agencies provide specialists in the fields of social welfare and human rights. This can extend into any number of categories and is often seen as charity work. Although charity work is technically accurate in many fields of social work agencies their work extends far beyond that. Many well known forms of social work include child welfare, counseling and therapy, and rehab for drug and alcohol abuse. Social workers work closely with communities to help them and improve their way of life while also helping with equality by handling cases of racism, sexism, and many other issues. Social work agencies are seen as doing charity work because they are so willing to help those less fortunate. Social work jobs do require a degree and continuous research and developments to continue to learn new techniques and to further understand their field.
